The American Underground

Thankfully the senate has not passed such a bill, and in doing so they would be impeading upon our rights, privacy and many other things, we pay to use the internet and how we use it is our disgretion (sp?) To have the ability to shut off the internet would be very wrong and rude, for example I know alot of people who are down range who's only communication with their family is on the computer, things like that, taking away all of our freedoms, bit by bit, and we need to take a stand and stop it, it's getting ridiculious, I'm starting to think that we were better off under british rule, make a few nukes and the government thinks that they are badass's and can do whatever they want.

I think that we rely on the internet and computers way too much personally, but I don't see a world with the government controlling our internet, as myself, I use the internet everyday whether it's playing world of warcraft, talking to friends, or posting on this forum, and if they were to take that step they are going to be pushing the american people one step closer to rebellion. I recall the night we all boycotted youtube for censorship, I have a feeling in the future that we may be boycotting the internet as well, we have to do something to ensure our freedoms remain in tact.
